Fairlands Valley park is an excellent facility in the middle of Stevenage. It contains three lakes, only the lowest of which is photographed. There is also plenty of free parking, grassland, woodland and geese. We went for a picnic, under a row of trees, on a very hot and sunny June day and it was brilliant. Read more.
