alpha Kappa Delta Phi is composed of strong and unique individuals from a wide array of cultural backgrounds. As a national organization, it is our goal to raise cultural awareness in our communities and continue our efforts to educate and embrace diversity. The Cultural Awareness Award was first presented at Convention 2003 and was created to alpha Kappa Delta Phi is an international Asian-interest sorority with 60 active chapters located at numerous universities across the United States and in Canada. Thousands of undergraduate and alumnae sisters support the rapidly growing network of strong and successful women in the organization. alpha Kappa Delta Phi is part of the National Since 1990, we have offered a diversity of women the opportunity to participate in the Greek system. alpha Kappa Delta Phi was established at the University of California at Berkeley in the fall of 1989, and recognized by the College Panhellenic Association on February 7, 1990. The fourteen founding sisters: Betty Chu, Karin Co, Susan Kim Since 1999, alpha Kappa Delta Phi Sorority, Inc. has been in the fight against breast cancer. Each year, our organization joins the fight by raising awareness and funds for breast health and cancer research. We have donated over $950,000 to help millions of women and their families fight and end breast cancer. In 2018, we raised $97,202 through The purpose of alpha Kappa Delta Phi's International Leadership Board is to commit itself to becoming an active and integral part of the sorority's core. There are currently 33 members on the staff, all volunteers who commit personal time towards the betterment and well-being of our organization.
