Worst case for any Kimber I've owned has been my BPTen (500 rounds before it got "happy"). If you don't need a sidearm, like quality accurate shooters, the Kimber Gold Match should make you happy. Unfortunately, in the price range of the Gold Match are Colt MKIV (new version) and Springfield's Match weapon. The gun was a Clark Custom 1911 9mm built on a Caspian Frame. It was recently tweaked by Brandan Bunker at Bunker Arms - barrel replaced with a Kart match barrel and bunker Arms custom bushing, Bunker Arms trigger job.
