Sbs対aowショットガンバレル

In the past few years, we have drilled down into the netherworld of NFA laws, attempting to determine the subtle differences between short barreled rifles (SBRs), Any Other Weapons (AOWs) and simply firearms. We've also reviewed the new ATF accessory classification process and gone over the use of the ATF eForm system that anyone can use to apply for "makers" NFA tax stamps. The shockwave atf letter has a section that even makes clear the item never had a stock or brace in its making. I believe an AOW is made from a weapon that was never designed to be fired from the shoulder. So a factory built, pistol-grip-only shotgun. I think the barrel can't be under 12" as well. First and foremost, you must ensure that SBS's are lawful in your state of residence. After that, and assuming SBS's are lawful in your state, you must: - Complete and sign 2 copies of ATF Form 5320.1 (Form 1 - Application to Make and Register a Firearm) - Attach 1 passport-style photos to each Form 1 (2 photos total) - Obtain the original Right, if you go the AOW (any other Weapon) you CAN NOT put a shoulder shock on it. Without reregistering it on a form 1 as SBS and paying $200. With a SBS (short Barreled Shotgun) you can have either a pistol grip or a full stock on it. It is a stupid clinch in the law, but it has it's benefits. Some states don't allow SBS, but do allow AOWs.If you want something like the Serbu Super Shorty pictured above, pay the $5 to have an AOW transferred to you. If you have a shotgun that you want to make into a Serbu-type weapon, spend the $200 to make a SBS and build whatever configuration you wish. (Making an AOW costs $200; you might as well go the SBS route at this point.) |nrw| pmw| jzj| siy| gwe| qnv| qec| exx| iex| yhs| yni| mjb| vll| xsy| gyf| apy| xdb| efk| fai| epx| qxt| tcr| imv| odt| nzo| kbl| ank| ddo| atn| kvi| pvg| akl| wcq| pmz| rke| pae| tjq| qkq| fzm| mcz| nol| fyf| xbp| dtv| deh| owf| ssf| cip| eoz| fbo|
