We have been to Da Francesco previously--3 years ago--and truly loved it. It was our favorite meal in Rome. This time the food was not as good. Pizza was great, but the pastas were a disappointment. The amatriciana was not as good as before and the vongole only 1/3 of the clams were open and able to be eaten. Da Francesco is a decent restaurant in Rome. The Spaghetti alla Carbonara was excellent, and the Margherita pizza was ok. Nothing special - not a lot of flavor in the sauce and certainly nothing to rave over.
