Like the previous seven years, the goal is for participants to finish the 3.1-mile run before the final notes of the symphony play, in about 34 minutes. This week, patrons of the Kennett Symphony ran en masse to Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. They were asked to "beat Beethoven" by completing a 5K run before the 32-minute opus completed.
