Concorde 002, the first UK-built aircraft, flew from BAC Filton to RAF Fairford just 31 days later (9th April 1969), piloted by Brian Trubshaw. Over the next 10 years, a total of 20 aircraft were built in France and the United Kingdom although 6 of these were prototypes and development aircraft.
