That means budget-conscious travellers can stay for really lub d is a hip and modern hostel in the silom area of bangkok. its about a 5-8 minute walk to the center of silom's nightlife (soi 2 & 4, patpong). although it is located on a quiet off street there are many stores such as 7-eleven and restaurants located on the main street. the bts station is also about a 5-10 minute walk. the hostel itself is fun! it has that modern concrete feel to it but Lub D has two locations in Bangkok, Silom and Siam Square. We stayed in Silom, but heard the Siam Square one is an equally fantastic hostel. The Silom location is a quick 7 minute walk to the nearest metro station. The neighborhood is a good spot to be, with plenty of cafes and bars to keep you entertained.
