Foulden is a civil parish and village in the Berwickshire area of Scottish Borders, Scotland, situated not far above the Whiteadder Water, and 7 miles (11 km) west of Berwick-upon-Tweed.. It has "one of the most striking village ensembles in the Borders" which incorporates the former school of 1881, all designed by John Lessels.. Foulden Has multiple hamlets and farms around it, including the Foulden is a pretty village in Berwickshire in southeast Scotland, with the interesting 'tithe' barn, parish church and graveyard with old carved tombstones and the nearby site of Foulden Bastle, the property being held by the Ramsays, Homes and then the Wilkies. and a medieval octagonal font is now kept in the church. Foulden was the scene Foulden Tithe Barn Apparently one of only two tithe barns in Scotland, and not much is known of its use or history, apart from comments that it has been modified in the 18, 19 and 20th centuries. It is in the care of Historic Scotland, by the side of the A6105 Chirnside - Berwick-upon-Tweed road, and can be seen from the adjacent churchyard.
