The Pandaren race is one of the oldest in the known world. Dating back before the sundering of the world, the Pandaren were once slaves to the race known as the Mogu. This dark period of history ended for the Pandaren through a successful uprising combining all the skills the race is known for; diplomacy, Wandering Isle is the Pandaren starting zone. It is located on the back of Shen-zin Su, a giant turtle that has been wandering for centuries in the oceans of Azeroth, unbeknownst to the Alliance and the Horde.
