The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is a nonprofit organization whose mission is the cultural and economic development of the city's 14-block Downtown cultural district, through public and private support. And it's not just local theater producers, says Paul Organisak, vice president of programming for Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. "Over the past five years, there certainly are more pieces becoming site specific," says Organisak, who travels nationally and internationally 100 days a year looking for dance and theater works to present in Pittsburgh. Paul Organisak looks to build on the downtown theater's success as a venue for an array of local and touring arts groups.Paul Organisak was named the Chicago theater's CEO. He previously served jointly as vice president for programming at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and executive director of the Pittsburgh Dance Council.
