Mousehole has outstanding views, invigorating coastal walks, serious surfing beaches nearby and now a proliferation of amazing places to stay. This western tip of Cornwall is also a cook's paradise: lobster, crab, mussels, and scallops are in abundance - and not expensive - in the fish shops of Newlyn. This is also a community that values its Hole Foods deli 10 N Cliff, Mousehole, Penzance TR19 6PH. Aside from having a pun-filled name, Hole Foods is easily one of my favourite cafés in the village. With harbour views and friendly staff, head here and you can also expect to find the best hot chocolates in Mousehole (they even have veggie marshmallows!) The picturesque Mousehole harbour is unmissable as it sits at the heart of the village. The original walls were built back in 1392! One of the best things to do in Mousehole is take a stroll along the water's edge, watch the fishing boats, and enjoy the atmosphere as you take in the fresh sea air. Check out the art galleries. Mousehole is a perfect place to visit for those seeking a traditional and beautiful English seaside village. Mousehole is just a fifteen minute drive from Penzance, a larger, more bustling town, with great views of St. Michael's Mount castle.
