The San Diego Zoo's giant pandas have come back to Panda Trek, after a long "staycation" at their temporary exhibit at the bottom of Center Street, near Sun Bear Trail. And they seem to be just as glad to be back as Zoo guests are to see them return. The pandas moved out of their familiar digs at Panda Trek during construction of the new An insider's journey of discovering the giant pandas off the scene! This programme will be suspended during "Animal Discovery Fest 2024" event period from 16 March 2024 to 19 May 2024, and will be resumed for enrolment starting from 2 May 2024. Hey, all the giant panda fans out there! Giant pandas live in the mountains of southwestern China, in damp, misty forests, mostly at elevations between 4,000 and 11,500 feet (1,200 to 3,500 meters). They need old-growth conifer forests with at least two types of bamboo and water access. These old-growth forests provide old, hollow logs and tree stumps large enough for panda dens. Giant Panda National Park is located in Central China stretching across Sichuan, Ningxia, and Shaanxi provinces. The national park is in development and will encompass 67 existing panda reserves. The giant panda is an iconic symbol of China and one of the most adorable creatures across the globe. This national park features a population of 良浜 Rauhin (Female) Date of birth: September 6, 2000 in Adventure World. She was born on November 6, 2000. It was the first birth in 12 years in Japan. She grew up to be a fine Giant Panda. She had twin pandas, "Meihin" and "Eihin" on September 13, 2008.
