Hagg Farm provides comfortable residential accommodation within the buildings and grounds of a converted 19th Century hill farm. Located just off the A57 (Snake Pass) between Sheffield and Glossop, Hagg Farm makes an ideal base from which to explore the Peak District National Park. Hagg Farm Centre opened in 1988, and accommodates up to 60 pupils and staff. It is a residential centre located in the Peak District National Park, about an hour and a half from Nottingham, set in its own grounds in the Upper Derwent Valley. The John Hunt Base is a smaller, self-contained unit next to the main centre. The Nightline is a fun activity located in the woods adjacent to Hagg Farm. A long trail of rope stretches between trees and the task is to follow the Nightline to the end. The task is often done in pairs with one blindfolded and the other guiding them around.
