3. Republic Square Christmas Market (Namesti Republiky) Located a stone's throw away from Prague's historic city center, Republic Square is a charming Christmas market. You can find it right in front of the Palladium shopping center near the Old Custom's House. This is probably the smallest Christmas market in Prague. The Prague 22 tram runs from Depo Hostivař in the eastern suburbs of the city to Bilá Hora (White Mountain in the west. There's not much to see in the first part of the journey, which takes you through the suburbs of Zahradní Město (Garden City) and Vršovice before climbing the hill to Vinohrady, descending to one of the suburb's main squares, Náměstí Miru (Peace Square). The Peace Square opens annually in mid to late November and runs until December 24th.
