Our 10-month, 1,080-hour program takes the nursing student through the fundamentals of nursing, care of the elderly, anatomy and physiology, medical surgical nursing, mental health, pediatrics and February 1, 2024. BOCES celebrated the accomplishments of the newest graduates of the Adult Practical Nursing program with a commencement ceremony held January 26, 2024. Twelve graduates make up this latest class. The ceremony was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Watertown, NY with family members and friends of the graduates in attendance. The BCCE Adult Practical Nursing Program prepares students to take the NCLEX-PN licensing exam for Practical Nurses. The curriculum includes: classroom theory, laboratory skills, and clinical experience. This course is a total of 1260 clock hours in length.
