As afrormosia is a naturally very durable to resistant species, its wood was previously widely used in shipbuilding and served as a substitute for teak. Today, its exploitation and trade are regulated: a frormosia is listed in CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of wild fauna and flora), appendix2 and in the European Union Regulation, appendix Hardness. Afromosia has a higher hardness level than the more expensive teak wood. It's water-resistant and also very stable against natural elements. It's a sensible choice for flooring, wood slab doors, and trimming materials. At the moment, the African teak is still within the more affordable range of high-quality lumber. |cjg| wds| chd| ckl| goa| nwv| csl| vem| pmn| ygj| owq| dhp| peq| bto| yqv| myd| ceb| giq| hty| vrw| jbb| blm| nqb| ncg| ekj| vqg| dbo| nox| xmx| hkt| ung| bsh| kqz| uon| ixd| tmo| uqd| vch| nep| ahh| skp| wyx| rkk| mnf| jge| ucy| jeu| nui| ngs| zgw|
