Spanish Language Placement Test (WebCape) The Latin American and Iberian Studies Department recommends that students take the 20 minute online Spanish placement test, called WebCAPE, to help students place into the appropriate Spanish language level. To get started: 1) Go to the WebCAPE website. 2) Select Everett Community College as your organization. 3) Select your test language. 4) Submit your contact, billing and payment information. 5) Take the test. 6. Regarding credit for the course(s) tested out of using WebCAPE Retroactive credit will be awarded for the course(s) that a student places out of using the WebCAPE exam, once the student completes the higher level course indicated by the placement exam and passes it with the grade of a "C" or higher.
