I've got to say personally I think the XM Traffic is only worth it as the $3 add on to normal XM service and not as a stand alone service. First, you have to have a CTS-V that has XM Nav Traffic capability. Check the FAQ for details. Then you call XM and add the service. If you are seeing this traffic info then you either have NavTraffic or as noted earlier - the XM folks are offering the traffic addon for free as an incentive.
