Storyville was a Boston jazz nightclub organized by Boston-native, jazz promoter and producer George Wein during the 1940s. WNAC at Hotel Buckminster. In 1929, WNAC Radio moved to new studios inside the Hotel and remained for the next four decades. An FM station was added in the late 1930s. In Boston's Back Bay, Storyville nightclub adds an ultramodern dance flair to leather booths, red walls, and a vintage wooden bar. This was actually the same location as the original Storyville in the 1950's which hosted some of the biggest names in jazz and was where Billie Holiday recorded a live album.
